The Lancaster Soil and Water Conservation District's Sowing Seeds Program provides native/ heirloom vegetable and wildflower seeds to Lancaster County residents via US Mail at no cost.

 

Lancaster County residents may complete the form on this page to sign up for the program. A selection of five or six free seed packets will be mailed to them in the spring (March/April) and summer (August/September) of 2022.

Spring Seeds: 

Tomato

Cucumber

Squash

Watermelon

Okra

Southeast Wildflower Mix for pollinators

Fall Seeds:

Collards

Mustard

Turnips

Kale

Black Eye Susan Wildflower

 

There is a limit to one request per household while supplies last.

We ask that once you receive your seeds and you start on your garden, please tag us on Facebook or send us pictures of your garden. 

Sign ups have ended due to the high demand for our spring program, so we can process orders as supplies last.
